Designed and made by a pilot for a pilot. Helpful but not legally required, this 121.5 Emergency Frequency placard provides a clear cockpit reference for the international aviation distress frequency.

While every pilot learns the guard frequency, emergencies rarely happen when workload is low. Having 121.5 clearly visible on the instrument panel provides an instant reminder under stress and eliminates the need to rely on memory when seconds matter.

The placard also serves as a practical reference in aircraft that do not have a one-touch guard selection on the radio. Even in modern panels, it provides a quick visual cue for passengers, copilots, or nom-other pilots who may need to access the emergency frequency.

Each placard is meticulously 3D printed from multiple layers of thermoplastic, producing a rugged background with recessed lettering in a contrasting color for clear readability. The placard is then fully encapsulated in UV-tolerant urethane for long-term durability in the cockpit environment.

Installation is simple and secure. The placard is backed with 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided adhesive, providing a strong, permanent attachment to instrument panels and other smooth cockpit surfaces.

Radiused corners and clean aircraft-style typography give the placard the appearance of traditional cockpit hardware rather than a simple sticker.

Size: 2.5” × 1.1”
