Made by a pilot for pilots, the “Leather Evolution Throttle” consists of a PTT and cable within a power lever covered with full grain, Mercedes upholstery grade leather.

It is manufactured in the USA by Swearingen 3D works of Marion IA., packaged in the USA and distributed by the designer. Everything you order is prepared just for you, only after you order. Upon order, your configuration options are checked and incorporated, final assembly completed, and continuity checks performed to assure the value and performance I have designed for you.

The power lever grip consists of a 3.6 inch 3D printed power lever (PL), designed for an RV-4 driver using an upside down airfoil cross section, and covered in fine Aniline Napa leather.

Compatible with the VANs RV-3, -4, and -8 /8A throttle quadrants CT-42F, CT-43F and CT- 82F, 83F and 81R (as pictured), the “Leather Evolution Throttle” is sized to adequately clear the existing PROP or MIXTURE lever while still retaining the throttle ergonomics of the original VANs throttle quadrant. The PTT switch is contained within the PL, and is operated by the pad of the left-hand thumb.

This is the “Leather Evolution Throttle” that provides a remove and replace option to your CT series of VANs throttle quadrant throttle ball. It comes complete with a functionally tested and wired PTT switch. (RV-4 CT-43F Throttle quadrant and PROP and MIXTURE knobs shown in pictures, not included in sale).
