WSK–PZL Mielec Heritage Yoke Emblem
WSK–PZL Mielec Heritage Yoke Emblem
Piper Seneca III Yoke Emblem, four color PLA, 3D sculpted, with 3M VHB adhesive backing
Made by a pilot for pilots.
Introducing the WSK–PZL Mielec Heritage control wheel emblem for the Piper-style "ram's horn" control yoke. Designed and manufactured in the USA by Swearingen 3D Works of Marion, Iowa, each emblem is individually manufactured, packaged, and distributed by the designer. Questions are answered personally, and every emblem is manufactured to the same standard of quality I expect in my own aircraft.
This emblem commemorates one of the most unique chapters in Piper history. The WSK-PZL Mielec M-20 Mewa began in the late 1970s as a licensed Polish development of the Piper PA-34 Seneca II, which was powered by 200-hp Continental engines. As part of the effort to produce the aircraft in Poland, Mielec developed versions using domestically produced PZL-Franklin engines. The program later evolved toward the improved Piper Seneca III configuration, using 220-hp Continental engines. A limited number of these M-20 aircraft were produced in Poland, including examples built during the early 1990s. Today, they remain among the most uncommon members of the Piper family, and this emblem was created to preserve and recognize that unique American-Polish aviation heritage.
The WSK–PZL Mielec emblem consists of a sculpted, four-color, layered 3D-printed reproduction of the original PZL Mielec design, integrated into the original Piper control wheel emblem profile and ready for installation.
